| It was off to Heaton Park, Manchester on Sunday the 2nd of September 2007 for this year's Trans Lancs Historical Vehicle Rally, and yet again the weather controllers were very cruel, and after a very dry Saturday decided to give us all a good soaking again. The deluge paused briefly whilst I took some of my earlier shots, but by mid-afternoon I was fighting a losing battle, and it was a great effort just to keep my camera dry, and prevent the blowing rain from getting into my lens all the time. It's not much fun when everything is dripping wet, including your hands, and you can see just how dark and gloomy it looked at times from some of the shots.
In spite of all that I will no doubt be doing it all again next year, even if the weather is just as bad. I'm obviously not the only madman out there after seeing so many other photters doing exactly the same thing!
